Feminist social Worker Psychotherapist and Consultant
Healing, Systems and social change - Grounded in feminist Trauma-informed practice
Twenty years of working at the intersections of trauma, justice, and healing have taught me that meaningful change happens in relationship — between people, and within the communities and systems that shape our lives. My work bridges both.
About My work:
I’m a Registered Social Worker Psychotherapist and Consultant supporting individuals, communities, and organizations ready to engage in deep, sustained change. My background spans clinical therapy practice, guidance counselling, grassroots and community service leadership, as well as policy and practice consultation in gender-based violence, exploitation, education and mental health.
Whether in a therapy room or a board room, I help people and systems move toward safety, integrity, and connection.
Two Ways We Can Work Together:
For anyone navigating loss, trauma, or identity work. I specialise in supporting women in transition and survivors of sexual violence. My work also encompasses supporting men and young adults through life changes, trauma and mental health.
Together, we explore what healing looks like for you — integrating Emotion‑Focused Therapy, EMDR, and evidence based practices through a feminist, anti‑oppressive lens.
Healing and Therapy
Consulting and Systems Change
For nonprofits, community organizations, and private sector leaders who want to embed trauma‑informed, equity‑based approaches into their work.
Past collaborations include program support and development, training peer advocates and clinicians, and designing curricula for service providers and who they serve in education, shelters and rape crisis centres.
I bring a systemic eye and a practical sensibility — helping teams design services that genuinely serve the people they’re meant to reach.
How I work
My approach is:
Feminist and anti‑oppressive — acknowledging power, privilege, and context.
Relational and trauma‑informed — honoring experiences without pathologizing them.
Integrative and spiritually grounded — drawing from evidence-based practice and intuitive human understanding.
System‑aware — because personal healing and social justice are deeply connected.
Begin the conversation
Whether you’re seeking healing for yourself or support for your organization, this work begins with a conversation.
